17 year old Samantha has been racing since she was 10 and a half years old. She began in a
Junior Dragster that her stepfather and a couple of friends built for her. Upon turning 13 she was
able to step it up a notch in ET and speed so for her 13th birthday her parents bought her another
Jr.
Samantha has finished the last 2 years in third place out of approx. 30-35 Juniors. And now
Samantha steps it up even further. She has easily slid into the seat of her Stepfather's 23T Altered
Dragster. Samantha attained her NHRA Competition license and she has proven herself to her
family and some very impressive "seasoned" professionals that she has what it takes!
Samantha was invited to go to Georgia in March by Virgil Hartman to get a little seat time in and
have some fun with some Nostalgia racers and she got her best ET and speed to date, 8.40 @ 156
mph. She was so good she was asked to join the famed "Southern Slingshots". You can read

Samantha attends a dual enrollment High School and intends to finish there with an AA degree.
Currently, Samantha is an A student and she plans to continue her education but aspires to one
