Kart driver Misty Balser, was born in Southern California to a family of avid race fans.
In a natural setting of automotive passion, Misty found herself going to car shows at a
very young age. Calling her grandfather, Dave, over to check out an engine, grandpa
knew there was something special about this young lady. At a local car show, Misty and
her grandfather walked over to a PITTS go-kart display and Misty showed her interest
in driving the race kart. No stopping it now… Christmas morning came and Misty found
a race-kart under the tree.
Misty took the karting world by heart, and surprise. With her winning ways, Misty has
put the pressure on, with a style and fashion respected by all who race her. She has
respect for other drivers and her own equipment; and knows the importance of the
finish. Misty has found over 35 wins in her 3 year career, with a “Rookie of The Year”
title in 2004, and a National Championship in 2005, and two Club (WSKC)
Championships in 2006.
Currently seeking sponsorship for a season of touring, this young racer is ready to
spread her name around the country. “We are seeking a few sponsors right now so we
can take on the Bandolero series in a serious way.” Misty continued, “It really doesn’t
take that much to sponsor us, and we will be traveling with great exposure for who ever
comes on board. I am looking forward to this challenging series, and I feel I am ready
for it, so here I come America!”
