Megan Reitenour

Megan Reitenour is seventeen years old and lives in Miamisburg, Ohio. Megan is part of a third
generation of racers in her family. Megan started out in a pink Barbie Corvette at the age of two
years old. "My Dad placed a pillow behind me and underneath me so I could reach the pedals of the
car" Megan said. At age four Megan advanced to a Quad Runner and couldn’t wait to get into a
Quarter Midget at age five.

Megan stayed in the Quarter Midget Series for seven years. She was able to obtain three
consecutive track championships and had over 150 top three feature finishes. After moving up
from the Quarter Midget Series, Megan spent two years in the Bandolero Series. Just a few of
Megan's  accomplishments; she won the Great Lakes Nationals in Flint, Michigan and the Buckeye
Nationals in Xenia, Ohio. Megan won the 2004/2005 Ohio State Championship in the Bandolero
series ranking 5th overall in the nation.
In 2006 Megan moved up to the Legend Series where she won the 2006 Semi Pro Young Lions
Ohio State Championship and finished 4th overall in the KOIL Touring Series (setting two records
in the process). One being the youngest driver to place in the top five and the second being the
first ever female to place in the top ten in the series history. Megan also finished ranking in the top
20% nationally in her rookie season.

In 2007 Megan stepped up to the ARCA Lincoln Welder Truck Series. Her race truck is a 2005
Chevy Colorado with a 4.3 V-6 engine and a four speed manual transmission and can reach speeds
up to 130 miles and hour.
In the 2008 season Megan was selected as a development driver for Nesbitt Racing Enterprises
Inc. and will be racing in the Super Cup Stock Car Series. This race car is a 600 horse power, Ford
Fusion, capable of speeds up to 150 miles and hour. Megan competed in the series inaugural race
and won!!!

"I know that the success I have had this far could not have occurred without the support of my
team, family, friends and independent sponsorship. I am so grateful for it. I get great satisfaction
from being part of a group that represents young ladies in this sport and I look forward to the goals
and challenges ahead of me" Megan tells us. And here at Behind the Wall Racing Apparel we are
proud to be able to feature such an awsome and upcoming young talent!
