Katrina Canney started racing go-karts at age 11 and in 2005 moved up into a full-sized race
car, racing in the Road Runner Division at Lee USA Speedway. In Katrina's first year in a
full-sized race car she had 19 starts, 18 top ten finishes, 4 top fives, and 1 win. For the 2006
season she moved up into the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Racing Series Late Model
Division at Lee USA Speedway.
Katrina's goal for the 2006 racing season was to gain experience and possibly race
competitively in this upper division. Katrina believed she was able to accomplish this goal by
finishing the season with 3 top ten place finishes, 1 fourth place finish, and finishing eighth in
the point standings!
The Canney Motorsports team was very busy getting the race car rebuilt for the 2007 racing
season, and look forward to even more success on the track!
