Jessica Pierce started racing in 2002 in Karts and currently races in the Sportsman Modified
Class, Super Stock Class, and the BRP Can Am 360 Late Model Series! Triple duty will keep
this up and coming driver very busy this year, but the feeling for Jessica and her team will that
his will be an exciting season as well.
Jessica and her Dad have been going to the races since she was 5, and one day in 2002 Jessica
said that it looked like fun to race. The very next day her parents bought Jessica a new Kart
and it was off the races from there! With no formal racing schooling, Jessica has gotten to
where she is today by what she has taught herself on the track. Sheer determination and the
desire to race have this driver on the right track!
Jessica is the only female to win a feature event in a weekly adult race class at her home track
in Woodhull, NY. It's the stuff that dreams are made of! On her father's birthday, Jessica led
the Super Stock Feature at Woodhull Raceway from flag to flag to pick up her first ever
feature win in a full-size stock car. After a 6th place finish in her heat race, car owner Jesse
Freberg made the necessary adjustments to make the #2J a rocket ship for the feature event.
Jessica drew the pole position, but it was no easy task as the top-runners put the heat on for
nearly the whole race. After the checkers fell, Jessica headed to a packed victory lane where
hundreds of fans waited to greet her.
Jessica has no real plans for her future in racing. She is just out there to have fun every week,
and in Jessica’s words, “That’s what racing is to me, FUN”! Jessica would like to move on to
bigger things, but she will take them as they come. But this racer is very modest, and we think
she is on the right path to bigger and better things.
